Recently, someone asked if Prophecy became a movie, who would be in my dream cast? Oh, the possibilities! The hero and heroine are easy because I had to give my cover artist my ideas of what they looked like in my mind. Here’s what I came up with.
 Gryf Helyg– (Hero, senior captain of the Matiran Guardian Fleet) Richard Armitage, with blue skin and white hair. Nearly swooned when I found this pic. He’s tipping his head just the way Gryf does. |
 Alexandra “Alex” Bock – (Heroine, nurse) Young Rachel McAdams with brown hair—spot on how I’ve always seen Alex. |
So, how do you think they compare with the cover?

Now, let’s move on to some of the supporting roles. As luck would have it, my wonderful critique partners and I did cast some of the other characters a few years ago for our own reference. Check these out.
 | Nicholaus “Nick” Bock – (Alex’s brother, and yes, the spelling is correct) Model Matt Murnane. The character of Nick is actually 18 in Prophecy, so imagine Matt a bit younger than he is here. Wait until you see the cover for Salvation, though. |
| Vyn Kotas – (antagonist) Tom Hiddleston. I mean, come on, he already has experience playing a villain. Bet he’d pull off the whole blue skin thing perfectly. |  |
 | Dante Dacian – (healer, and friend of Gryf’s.) A geeked-up version of Matt Bomer, with blue skin and brown eyes. |
| Graig Roble – (Matiran officer, and friend of Gryf’s) Andy Whitfield, with short-cropped red hair and blue skin. Sadly, Andy lost his battle with cancer in 2011, but he would have been perfect as Graig. |  |
 Haesi Velo – (Vyn’s accomplice) Cara Delevingne. Her personality seems to be the polar opposite of Haesi’s, but her look here nailed it. Just imagine blue skin and aqua-marine eyes. | Simone Campbell – (botanist, Alex’s best friend) Lupita Nyong’o. Her facial features are bang on how I envisioned Simone. Body wise, I see the character a bit curvier, but Lupita would still do justice to the character.  |
So, these are my choices. Are they a hit, or miss? Do you have other ideas for any of the characters? Ora? Bodie? Duck? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
