Yeah, that's not an award I'll be getting this year. On Oct. 18, 2017, one year to the day after Salvation's release, I was in the midst of the release of the Other Worlds boxed set. The day...week...month got passed me before I realized I'd missed its book birthday.
After not finaling in a contest that Collision and Prophecy took 1st & 2nd place in, being half ignored at release because Pets in Space came out at the same time, and now this, it's a wonder Salvation isn't suffering from a severe case of middle child syndrome.

Parental guilt is driving me to find a way to make this right. Maybe I'll write a holiday story featuring Nick and Saku for 2018. Hmmm....
